Maison Flore is a sustainable and independant house, celebrating the art of French Trousseau tradition and intergenerational transmission through upcycled, feminine and timeless ready-to-wear and home linen collections.
By crafting and upcycling in Paris antique Trousseau linen, Maison Flore perpetuates both ancestral and contemporary French savoir-faire, to write a new story made of poetry, renewal, and hope.

A french Trousseau story since 1901
Born into a family of Trousseau embroiderers, Flore Mouren founded Maison Flore in September 2020, as a tribute to her roots, maternal legacy and its artisanal savoir-faire, passed down from mother to daughter since 1901 in Marseille, France.

Flore Mouren, founder & designer
" I was born and raised in Marseille in a house that has been passed down from generation to generation, steeped in my family's history of arts and crafts, entrepreneurship, creativity and freedom.
Captivated by my grandmothers’ “Maison de Broderie” and by my paternal family’s factory and boutique, founders of the renowned “Chocolaterie Mouren” in Marseille, I have long carried the quiet wish to revive the spirit of these sleeping houses, to awaken their legacy in my own way.
After studying fashion design, pattern making, and art history in Marseille, and spending 13 years as an entrepreneur in the Parisian fashion scene, I chose to reconnect with my roots and reinterpret my family’s traditions in my own way, blending heritage with upcycling, and transmission with creation. "

Wrapped in fine linens
From its very beginning, Maison Flore has stood out for its singular and committed approach : refreshing, with poetry and femininity, every element of the antique linen Trousseau, chosen for its exceptional quality, embroidery, and history, to create pieces where ancestral and contemporary savoir-faire meet.
The journey began with exclusive online drops : one-of-a-kind, upcycled pieces crafted in ultra-limited editions. Each release met with immediate success, quickly selling out. This first chapter shaped the very soul of the Maison, a tribute to enduring beauty, singularity, and savoir-faire.

Key moments in the Maison Flore story
In 2021, Maison Flore made its first step beyond the digital realm with a corner at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, soon followed by the opening of its Parisian boutique-atelier.
Within just a few seasons, Maison Flore began collaborating with renowned department stores, partners and retailers in France and abroad, with its first presence in Japan in Spring 2023. That same year, the Maison was honored with the AAP Fashion Award from the French Ministry of Culture.
Today, the Maison opens a new chapter to celebrate its fifth anniversary : beyond limited editions available immediately & exclusive collaborations, it now places made-to-order creation at the heart of its process, co-creating with its clients singular, enduring, and timeless pieces.

A timeless, feminine aesthetic
Maison Flore embodies a poetic, creative, and contemporary art of living, one that celebrates slowness, quality, simplicity, and transmission: the passing down of memories, stories, traditions, and savoir-faire, within a feminine and refined universe.
A free, natural, and elegant spirit : thoughtful cuts, clean lines, subtle details, symbolic ties, living and tactile materials, and delicate embroideries, for an effortless chic silhouette designed to transcend seasons and time.
