Around 180 squares were needed to create this beautiful maxi skirt, to adopt and treasure forever. Made from the most precious antique Trousseau linen with authentic refined handmade embroideries, this item encapsulates 120 years of french embroidery History. A highly sustainable century-old material upcycled and manufactured in France with care and savoir-faire by Flore and her team.

A beautiful maxi length for a chic and timeless vibe, fully elasticated at waist for comfort, fully lined with upcycled cotton veil, 2 pockets on sides for an effortless allure : this item is a refined and must-have Maison Flore creation.

Inspired by Flore's great-grand-mother linen and lace patchwork technique, each piece will show light variations because of the natural dyeing and the unique materials they are made of.

Our style tip : This maxi skirt will be as beautiful worn in winter with timeless accessories for a sophisticated look, as in summer with a white tank top, sandals, a wicker basket and a golden skin.

Maison Flore is a Trousseau story in Marseilles since 1901. It all started with Marie, Flore's great grand-mother, who was a Trousseau embroiderer in the Vauban neighbourhood, just like Berthe, her daughter, will be after her. Fascinated by this precious craft(wo)manship passed on from one generation to the next, she have long dreamed of sharing and bringing back to life in her own way this amazing savoir-faire left in oblivion.

As a tribute to her family history and her inherited "Maison de Broderie", Flore carries on her maternal legacy by crafting a contemporary Trousseau made of upcycling and heritage, through timeless and feminine lines. Based on green and local couture, this everlasting poetry-to-wear with an extra soul is destined to be collected, cherished and one day passed on through generations, just like antique trousseaux were passed on from mother to daughter.
